The other day I had to go to Megala Mart because I needed a toaster, plus I wanted one of those nonstick green pans.
Since I am living near some great trout streams I thought that I would go and look at some fishing gear. In the fishing department there was an older woman stocking shelves, and though she might be quite capable in her ability to help me pick out a fishing pole, or a rifle, I just figured that she probably was not and left.
Shop Local – Build Rapport
Some times you have to go to a box store for something, however there is something lost in the process. For fishing and boating supplies you may pay a bit more to buy local however by building a rapport with a local shop owner, that person can give you a better idea as to what is catching fish in that area, or what kind of fuel additive if any is working with fellow boat owners, and maybe give you a hint as to how to do a repair yourself, when you buy parts off of him. So try to buy local when you can we all benefit.
Talking about fishing the docks are starting to go in the water, and the party boats Sundance, and Challenger, will be making their first trips of the season this weekend.
